Don't Believe The Hype
Whenever I get on a plane, I always leave my cell phone on. I leave it on for the whole flight, from before take off until after landing. I have done this well over a hundred times, and not a single crash has resulted. Dont believe the hype.

The reality is; could you imagine how fucking annoying it would be if 100 + people in close proximity on a 737 were all talking on their phones.. it'd be fukn awful!
i agree. in fact i think they should be banned altogether. but until then, i am going to leave mine on from before take off until i get off the plane.
i may even start turning it off when i am well inside the terminal building just to totally fuck them up.
The real reason that mobile phones are banned on airplanes: it screws up the mobile phone networks on the ground, as they desperately try to keep up with a user moving at 500mph. Soon this problem will be solved with a software upgrade, and mobiles will no longer be banned (or if they are it will have to be for a different reason).
